Hotmail Problem

I use Outlook Express to get my emails from Hotmail. Last night for no apparent reason, my inbox was wiped clean. I come to work today and checked my Inbox again through Outlook Express and its empty. I went onto Hotmail's site and checked and again its empty even though the sent and deleted boxes gave my emails in.

Did I get a virus? or is there another reason??
