IPod Help??

Hi guys when i connect my ipod to the pc it picks it up in itunes and all but when i try putting some songs on it when the ipod freezes and then stop the transfer. When i take the cable out it still shows do not dissconect on the screen and i can hear the hard drive still going. Anyone help?

Have you tried to reset it? I think you plug it in at the mains, and hold menu + play together til the apple logo appears, 4th gen and upwards, consult your manual.

Yea i have tried that. Also done a restore and everything does not seem to work!

Sounds like a usb/firewire problem? Maybe try your ipod in a different pc.

It'll sound stupid, but I had the same problem with my first iPod photo. Was using the front USB ports off my PC and had the same exact problem. Had to plug it into the USB port in the back of my PC and it's been smooth sailing ever since.
