urgent help needed with modded box

chipped an xbox with apple x chip, the console powers on for half a second then shuts down then powers up and goes to the clock setting screen you set the time, but when you switch off and try turning it back on it does exactly the same, took the chip out but it's still doing the same !!!

could anyone please help....

The xbox should work ok after you took the chip out. I'm guessing maybe its a solder bridge. Check over all the solder spots and also if the mobo is black/brown in any places from the iron overheating then try to check that there aren't any burnt traces.

sorry, it does work fine with the chip removed, just when it's connected i get the problem

When you put the chip back in, use wires instead of soldering it straight to the mobo. Also instead of the regular d0 point try using the bottom side d0 point here (http://www.x-elixis.com/final/installation/do-point.htm) it makes a much better connection.
