webcam first use

just bought a webcam for the first time, loaded the drivers etc.

it works fine, but not really sure how to go about contacting people on the web and what software to use, or if the make of the web cam matters on what proggies you can use.

any advice you can give would be appreciated.

Try using it with msn messenger.
Pretty straight forward. Just click on Start Webcam at the and away you go.
