Anyone help me get wireless

Ok here is the score

am interested in purchasing a wireless access point to connect to my BT Voyager 205 ADSL Router.

I am looking at purchasing the netgear wg602 access point

the question is

would i just need to connect the access point via a ethernet cable into the back of my bt router and will all wireless accessable items be able toi see it
(i.e laptop has built in wireless and my sony psp)

is this model of access point any good

really need to b setup by new year

any thoughts and help would be much appreciated

I have a Netgear 602 AP connected to a Cable/DSL Router, so slightly different but hopefully should be the same.

Pretty much plug it in, and away I went. Obviously you will need to set up the security side of the AP (WEP etc) and make sure that the internal IP addresses of the Router and AP are different (if they are not you will get problems).

Not sure about the PSP, maybe have a shout out in the PSP forum if no luck here.

oh, and yes, I do love my 602, never failed me, and it is even a reconditioned model from ebay.
