I'm not sure that there are any good free burnware programs. What exactly do you need to burn?

You could always try a demo of Nero 6 (http://www.nero.com/us/nero6-ultraedition.php) which seems to have been a favorite here for years. You can find a list of the supported burners in Nero HERE (http://www.nero.com/us/632012038142166.php).

Unless you want to burn audio only, then there's Feurio (http://www.feurio.com/English/index.shtml) which is free (and excellant for audio) if you want to put up with all the nag reminders.

As celtic said BAO is excellent, even burns DVD movies. (you will have to install a small file for this - link at BAO forums) www.burnatonce.com (http://www.burnatonce.com)

CD/DVD Burner XP Pro 2 is also very good. http://www.cdburnerxp.se/

Also Deep Burner is very good too but as of yet does not do DVD video. http://www.deepburner.com/

HTH :)

You mean actually author VCD? If so check out VCDEasy, the older free version.

Almost any program can burn you data if you already have it encoded and set up in the proper format. Burning programs and authoring programs are not the same.
