Cable Wireless router

I have set it all up with my kids pc upatairs I have managed to get his to work he has access to the net the problem is I can't get onto the net myself now DOH what have i done wrong

no idea,

how is it connecting? wired or wireless?

if wireless, are you using windows software or software from wireless adapter?
is the adapter usb or pci or pcmcia?
have you set up wep, or mac filtering?
can you see the other pc from your's on the network?
can you see your pc on the router?

what is the actual router and configuration?

ok its at it again

I have a belkin wireless g router

every so often it keeps losing the connection the only way to get it back is to switch the power off on the router

I downloaded the new software for it and it still shuts down



do you think I should take it back to PC world and get my money back !!!!
