Hey, yah, as you can see... I saw this baby on TV and i was like WOW!!! Soldering suddenly becoming the easiest thing in my life...

do you think this tool will works with soldering a modchips to my ps2???

looks a good idea and it should be ok for doing ps2 chips if the soldering tip is small enough for it
is it only available in the US

I dont think it would give you the correct wattage and the tip size looks a little large for soldering you might mess things up I wouldnt use it for chippping ps2s

On a serious note, a buddy of mine did get one of these and he swears that it works great for XBOX modding. Can't vouch for PS2s but he says it works great for XBOXs.

they are great and worth the money ideal for chipping up machines
the only thing i found is that the solder bit can break and are not cheap to buy
but other then that a great product :)

I would still be leary of ESD problems using the batteies vs using a normal soldering iron
I would rather use my 15 watt Hakko iron any day
