I have a 50 page document and I would like to reduce it via 50% so each page is scaled down to 50% its orginal size. Therefore 2 pages fit into one. How can I do this? It will be great if it can be done with adobe readeR?

In Acrobat Reader, when you open the print menu there is a page scaling option under page handling. Select "multiple pages per sheet" from the dropdown menu and you can set your number of pages.

Make sure you are using the latest version of reader.

Or without Acrobat and mainly for printing purposes you could use FinePrint which I must say is one of the best pieces of software I've ever bought and has more than earned me my money back in return with it's paper/space savings. You can d/l a demo from here:- http://www.fineprint.com/products/fineprint/index.html

It has so many options that will help you time & again especially the booklet options. One piece of software that I just could not do without on a daily basis. :)

Maybe so, I only said that because I wasn't sure if the print options are the same on previous versions :)
