SONY vaio gone up the creek!!! HELP PLSE!!!

Evening all!!!

Have a sony vaio pcg-505 which was working fine up till now - tried to turn it on the other day but it is not powering up at all - nothing!!! The battery I believe was full the night before so cant be that. Been having a little prob with the connection b/w the charger and lappy which had become slightly fussy and needed it to be at a specific angle b4 it would charge!!

Im thinking maybe a power supply prob - but some advice on this would be great!!!

It sounds like you diagnosed your own problem. Teh specific angle thing is probaly there is a bent or loose connector on the power supply cable for the plug.

yeh im thinking that....but then why wouldnt it power on in the morning??? Does anyone know where i get a psu for a sony vaio lappy???

Have you removed both the battery and power source and replaced them? I used to work for Sony and we had probs with the 505's all the time like that
