My ink monitor says that I still have 60% ink left but it is not printing all the colours and I have tried cleaning nozzles. Is the ink monitor thing reliable or is there something I am doing wrong?
Thanks for any help.

it's possible you may have a non working cartridge
had this problem before with some cartridges,
mine was a im jet cartridge
try replacing the ones that don't work

Your ink cartriges could actually be empty. The Epson printers do not really detect how much ink is in the cartridges. They just count how many times each color was actually used and makes an estimate on how full the cartridges is. If the ink counter is wrong or you used a generic ink cartridges that has a different capacity the ink monitor will be inaccurate.

Also ... if you've been using compatible carts, the printhead could be clogged up solid. I had this with my R200 and the Epson Service Shop replaced the Printer under warranty, as they couldn't unclog it.
