Hi guys
Every night at midnight i lose my AOL connection.
I can log back on straight away but can be a bit annoying.
I got in touch with them and they said "DOHHH it could be your phone cable."
" It should be less than 10 metres away from your pc."
That's the best they could do.
I have Broadband and have my pc connected to a wireless modem so i can use the laptop also.
Anyone else have this problem??
Cheers

Have you set your parental controls so that you can only log on for so many hours a day? that happened with mine too, and I set it so it was on all the time and its ok now.... If its set for, say, 8 hours a day, at midnight it will reset and you need to reconnect....

No problems here on a Belkin?
Just a thought, is your modem plugged in to a UPS? every night at a certain time (about 11.15pm I think) the power company send out a different frequency current to turn on off peak circuits, here in Australia anyway, your modem may be sensitive to this.

it depends on how long you been logged onto aol
they have a automatic kick of when you been on to long
it can allso be down to what type of modem you have got
if its a usb modem make sure that windows is not turning it of in the device
manager under the usb modem to save power
other then that aol sucks and its crapppppppp
