i have an old epson c20 printer which has worked well for years.......only problem is that both lights are flashing, and i cant do a thing with it.....from what i have read it thinks that its ink overspill tray is full, the only way to empty this is to send it for a service, as i have to tell its chip that its now empty??????????????.....can anyone help
Have you tryed reseting it? Unplug the power and let it sit there overnight.

yes...ive tried that...there is usually a combination to the 2 buttons, for ink change and various things, but not for the spill tray.....i read on a post somewhere that epson have set the chip to respond like this after 1000 nozzle cleans, and it can only be reset by an epson service outlet.........cheaper to buy a new printer i think.......shame really as im only paying 2.99 for the colour ink

You tried doing the reset trick that was talked about so much not so long ago,it seems that epson have done a sneaky thing when it comes to there overfill of the internal spill tank. You ever wondered what happens to that ink when u clean the print heads and such like, well it goes in to a overspill pot in your printer. Not saying this will work but worth a try look here http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml
