No point in upgrading now unless you just want to blow some money off. I'd wait till PCI Express comes into town.

Not sure about your mobo as i have an asus..I paid £282 for the hercules 3d prophet 9800xt from overclockers (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/hercules_ati_graphics_cards.html) as far as i'm aware the card is the rival card to the geforce fx 5950 spec wise. the big differences being it doesn't have problems with directx 9b and only takes up 1 expansion bay compared to the geforce's 3.

P.S.. farcry looks amazing on the 9800xt with every gfx setting on max.:)

Edit..forgot to say the card comes with a voucher for a free copy of half life 2, so really the card is only costing you £250 if you was going to buy a copy once it's out.

Its a coupon to download it when it comes out. Not really go out and buy it.

Not really go out and buy it.Yep, you can download it from their steam service if you're signed up for that. it also says on the card in the 9800xt box that you can choose to have them mail you the game. either way it's still saving me £30 so i'm happy...
