HELPPP dvd rom q

just bought a lg dvd rom ......looks like 3 jumper settings......can anyone tell me wat the slave one is ...

ok found it its the middle for slave .....ok another q why is it taking almost 37 mins to decrypte a back up when it used to take 16 mins abd the new rom drive is quicker than my old one ......
