Hi i have a 1mb broadband connection with AOL, problem is my download speeds seem to slow down during the day, at night from around 11pm to around 1pm my speed is about 100kp/s to 140kp/s, but from around 1pm to 11pm it drops to about 40kb/s to 50kb/s. Has anyone else had this problem? or does anyone know how to solve it.

Welcome to DVD-ROM Guide
I'm afraid you wont find many fans of AOL on here m8, for a variety of reasons, ranging from bloatware software, non standard email etc. to poor/slow connections.
It seems to vary, depending on where you are.
If you are getting decent speeds after 11pm, this sounds like they are bursting at the seams during peak times (fairly typical). You could complain, but it'll probably be pointless.
The only real way to improve things is to ditch AOL and go for a better ISP ... a little research on Google will point you where ;)

I see you are in Scotland .... we have lots of folk here from Bonnie Scotland .... I'm sure they will recommend some decent ISP's for you.
