large mp3 file + .cue, how do you split them

is there a program that will do this for you, ive done a couple of them in cooledit but its such a pain in the arse

I don't know of anything that will do this for you but if you are keeping the end result as an mp3, you shouldn't be using an audio editor. Re-encoding the file after splitting it will reduce the quality of the mp3. Try something like MP3 Trim to slpit the file, it will keep it in an mp3 format without having to re-encode when it's done.
