my dell is running really slow and i would just like to wipe my pc and start from scratch again i anti spy ware software and my anti virus is ok but i just wana wipe the whole computer and restart xp thanks btw the link in the faq is dead to reformat harddrive

making sure you have backed up any required data.....

if you have a standard xp cd, boot from the cd, then during the install you will have the option to format the hard drive and install as usual.

If you have Windows XP CD.

You could use the Dell Restore disc and follow the on screen instructions if you have one.
