Can anyone help out, my silver ps2 (old style) decided not to play any type of media early this week. I spoke to a guy who said my laser may have been worn out, but before he can give me a cost, he needed to know what type of laser i had.
He guided me through the process and got to the stage where i could tell him what laser it was, (sony 400c by the way), hpwever before dismantling the ps2, it powered up and everything, but just would not read discs, now, the ps2 does not power up at all
anyone has any ideas what the problem could be
