"This game only works on win95"

hi,

i tried installing an old game of mine "commandos: beyond the call of duty" on a PC running windows XP, but i cannot install it because an error message pops up saying that it can only be played on windows 95/98.

i know theres an option to run something "as windows 95 app". but i can even install this one, let alone run it.

anone know how to solve this problem or a way around it?

Try running the setup in compatibility mode.

Yeah, right click the Setup.exe (or Install.exe) and put that into Win 95 mode.
