Spam "Still" a problem

Hi all.

Before the recent spam worm/virus that attacked the net a short while back, my two email accounts never suffered from the problem.

Although this has ceased at the rate caused by the worm/virus. I'm still suffering from spam. On one account the problem is minimal but, on the other I'm still getting a dozen a week. Mostly with a 41kb attachment.

Why is this. Is anybody else suffering this same problem on a previously spam free account?

yes but that is due to my account email addy really.

In essence, any of these worms/virii will continue to propagate around the net until every PC is either protected or if the virus has a termination date within the code. Hence if someone with your email addy on their PC has the virus still, it will continue to send to you.

Since posting I've not had any spam mail. That's only three days, but hopefully it will continue to reduce. Also, it's still not as bad as a Hotmail account:)
