Hi all Sorry for mentioning the d* word on my post for la rush.Does anyone think updating the xbox bios would solve my load problems for this game, and if so how do i do it?? As always appreciate anybodys help.

Ok bit more info from the xbox
Running Slayers Evo X
Bios Version Evo X M7EJ
Kernel Version 1.00.5101.01
Hardware Info 00000230 a3 d4

Think it executer chip, blue led on front and bank of 3 switches,1 is for enabling/disabling chip.2 is for protected/unprotected.3 is for bank1/2.Hopefully this give some knowledgeable person a bit more insight.

xecuter website (http://www.teamxecuter.com/index.php)

in the downloads section there is a program called flashbios that is really helpful on the x2.6 chips which is what I think you have.

Read through the website, they have forums and install instructions with nice pictures. It's easy to update the bios, you just have to be cautious and triple check everything before you go ahead and flash the hardware.

Looks like you have an X2 lite...By the way I have basically the same question..my Xbox v1.1 modded chipped with an Xecuter 2 Pro and want to update my Bios to support larger HD (250-400GB). I have AID v2.11 final installed with an avalaunch Dashboard. How do I update my Bios? What kind of Bios do I need? Is it the 256k, 512k or 1mb? I have all of them, so just get the flashbios and burn with .bin bios?
Any step by step will be really appreciated...!!!

Thanks in advance guyz

hmm i think you can use evox to flash the bios, I haven't seen anyhting on a lite or pro in a long time so this is from fuzzy memory. http://www.xbox-scene.com/modchips/x-ecuter2_pro_switches.html is a guide to the switches on the chips. I would suggest putting flashbios on one bank of the chip so that you can easily update te bios on the remaining banks.

For bios modification you use xbtool for all bios' before x2 5032 and evox m8, for evox m8 the tool is called evtool. For x2 5032 you use the built in config file.

Thanks for the reply but i not to sure on how to exactly go about doing this so i think i will just leave it and wait for a different release, and hopefully that will iron out my only 1 game that wont boot lol.

Ok it is an executer 2.2 it says on the sticker from where i got it done.

How big is Xecuter 2 pro Bios?
is it 256, 512 or 1mb?
Which one should I flash with X2 pro and Xbox v1.1?

Thanks again

Thanks again I found the solution for it by using db25 cable and X2BM v2.3. I follow the guide by teamexecuter...Pretty cool...Succesfully updated!!!
