Hello Everyone.
Hope that things are well.
I was wondering if my personal security suite is comprehensive enough and if not, what changes should I make.
I am currently running:
1. Kaspersky Personal
2. Spybot
3. Spywareblaster
4. Adaware
5. Spyguard
6. ZoneAlarm Pro
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

How long does windows take to srtup upon login with that lot running? A bit OTT I think. Is it just you using this PC? If so then I reckon you should sacrafice this much softare and use your own awarness in terms of browing and installing spyware etc. If there are a few of you using this PC (kids especially) then I reckon you should keep the lot!

Agree with Mamakin here M8 - unless you're running Chelsea's finance department you've seriously overkilled your security which will in turn comprimise the performance of your machine.
I am more than happy with one Firewall, one decent AV program and certainly Ad Aware (or similar) - too many programs tripping over themselves to save your privacy really doesn't help as they all compete for processor usage and memory. TBH - much more than this is slightly paranoid unless you realistically have something on your box which is genuinely attractive to a hacker.
Hope this speeds your machine up a bit!
