Does the same game title have have its own unique ID? ie can the same game have different IDs

It has been reported that Socom II has it's own individual IDs but so far no other games have been reported to have this issue.

ever looked to PC games? why do you think they all have different serials to register? keep posting your DISC IDs on some lame forums!
You will get banned sooner or later! (we already know companies who blocked some DISC IDs posted on some lame forums) and if you found out which game, then your console is banned for life :-) But guys go ahead and keep them posting ;-) Its funny we have so much more then all webmonkeys have :-) but you guys dug your own hole ;-) HAHA'

What I am going to do, if go to my local Blockbuster or Hollywood Video, and get the DNAS ID's, rent the game there, and apply it to my copied version...just keep to myself and private...

And I suggest everyone else do the same...

i agree with raven. The odds of the you(w/ id from rented game) and person renting that game being online at the same time is slim.

Mmm. I think the nfo of Paradox is a bit strange. They developped the disc ID tool for one reason: to play backups online. Now it's 'leaked' they say that every game has it's own unique ID. Is this true or not ? from what I heard from other forums is that many games has the same ID. People used the ID-patcher on their backups and they play online with them. They are not (yet) been banned.

Even if all games have an unique ID then how will Sony know wich one is the original game?

So, true or BS about the unique ID's ? Can it be a 1-april-fool-joke by Ps2Info/ Paradox ?

how do you burn the disk id utility? whihc file do ou select? thanks
