Advice on a lcd tv please ?

Ok i have got £2,500 to spend on a new tv.
I am after a 42"lcd (not plasma)
Needs to be HDTV ready also freeview would be a bonus (but not essential)
Will be used a lot for console gaming.

Any advice/suggestions anyone ?

not many 42" all singing/dancing lcd`s for £2500. 37"+ are just comming to market and are still at a premium. check here:-
