I want to convert an avi file with .srt sub to mpeg...

Hi, i have an XVID .avi video with .srt subtitles that i want to convert into an mpeg file with the .srt subtitle input into the mpeg too... but the problem is when i try to convert it with TmepgEnc the subtitle doesn't appear even when my .srt file and my xvid file is the same file name...

help me please... I use to be a moderator here too by the way... :D
