Cannot get burnt SVCD to play in DVD standalone!

Ac topic, got bin/cue downloaded and can I flip get it to play?!! Tried Nero, Fireburner, VCD Easy and many more and none work .. any ideas??!!

Does your standalone support SVCD's?

Yep, tried on both my Sony and the Ronin (which always plays everything!)

does it play ok on a PC?
is the folder structure correct on the SVCD, e.g. an EXT, MPEG2, Segment and SVCD folder?

Plays on PC, structure fine, may just have fussy players??!!

could be that your players don't like SVCD's there is a VCD header trick (http://www.vcdeasy.org/modules.php?name=_Guides&id=VcdTrick) work around that may or may not work.

you could give it a shot- think they're may be an easier method thatn the one i linked to but it was the first "non forum" based answer i found on google- didn't want to break the forum rules http://www.pushupstairs.com/images/emoticon/extra1/biggrinangelA.gif

Cheers for all the replies, Im now having a go with SVCD2DVD to put the bugger on DVDr instead ... see how that goes!
