Bit Torrent Question?????

Have just started using this as every one seems to be raving about this!!,,am using the ABC client and download speeds are very good etc but was just wondering if anyone else finds it very resource hogging,,while downloading if go browsing the net or using anything on the pc it all goes very slow,,(fine when abc is shut down).Never had an issue when using emule could be downloading ,burning a dvd and browsing the net with no probs.
MY spec is amd xp2600 512mb pc2700 ddr ram running windows xp sp1.

Any1 else have similar probs ?

Yep most BT clients are resource hogs I'm afraid. :(

ABC is a very good choice tbh, I use BitTornado myself but I wouldn't say it was any better than ABC as regards using up system resources, can also depend on how you have it setup mind. Best thing is experiment with some of the settings and if they make it worse revert to default.

Its prabally slow for you because all of your upload stream is being used up. And that slows down your downstream. Cap the upstream speed.

Thx for the replys guys,,to be honest just downloaded it and ran it ,,havent touched any settings ,wot settings do u recommend ???am using 512kb broadband?
