problem with outlook express ned help

im running a crappy computer for work been sound for a while but now having probs with outlook express

after i sign in about 20 seconds later i get the computer has performed an illegal operation and these are the details of it

i really need to fix this problem as i am stuggling to send and recive e-mails for my work it must be a small problem someware (hopefully as there is 2 other computers on the network and they send a recive e-mails fine

i'm using windows 98SE operating system

Have you tried removing and then recreating the mail account in Outlook Express? Obviously you'll need to know all the settings before doing this. Server, log on, password, ect.
