For some reason unknown to me, whenever I click a link to open a new window in IE, it open in a very small sized (not maximized) window. If I resize it, it resets back to the old setting that it had before (the small one).
Anyone know how to get IE to either keep all new links maximized or remember a size setting?

If it still does not do it then try dragging IE out to it's full screen size and don't click on the maximize box. When you then close it down and reopen IE it should (hopefully!) be the same size again.
Or use FireFox which will never give you such problems and is far more secure than IE :- http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
lol, I see laz is still refering people to good old mozilla.
That would be a good choice. But if you still want to stick with IE then this program will automatically maximize the windows for you.

After you have the window the size you want, hold the control key down when you close the window. The next time you open the window it will be the size you set it at. This works for Word, Excel etc. as well.

Firefox does rock the preverbial house-the "All in one gestures" extensions is so useful- only wish some of the financial institutions would pull their finger out and start enabling their sites for Firefox. Have to always switch back to IE for them :( which kind of defats the object of switching to Firefox- probably the sites you want to know are most secure- oh well- i follow M$ fix for internet spoofing and "type the address out by hand"

I use Firefox on my SuSE box (funny enough though, on my Mandrake 10 box I use Opera), but I just prefer using IE when I'm in Windows. It just doesn't seem right. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll see if they work.
