Can you play converted movies on any version of psp?

would like to buy a uk psp but know that the firmware is not compatible at moment to play copied games etc but was wondering if you can still play converted films on it yet?

if yes how big does a typical 90 min come out at?

Yes you can, m8. The average movie will be between 350-550 Megs, but they can be encoded at higher rates sometimes laving them up to 900Mb

if you have a version 2 psp get the new psp9 encoder as this has the new compression software for version 2 built in avl or something like that better compression and better pic quality

although you cant use this if youre running a older psp
