I have a USA ps2 and my brother sent me some pal games. I was wondering if there is any way i can play them in color. I have a flip top with version 2 of swap magic cd and dvd.

Thanks,

You will need to find a way to convert your TV. There are some adapters that will allow you to do this. Not really sure on the details though.

there are software converters, but I havent been able to find one anymore tho. If i do ill let you know. Other then that, try www.gamecopyworld.com (http://www.gamecopyworld.com) and look under PS2 patches, and look for your game. Hope this helps

Is it not possible to force NTSC output by connecting the 'colour fix point' to a +ve voltage (3.45v ?) - or does this only apply to chipped ps2s?

maybe it does... i am still in the old age. I had a neo2.2, then neo4.5, now a dms3. From the time the neo4.5 came out, until about december, ive been in the dark. So idk. Anyone want to follow up?

well-pal ps2 to play usa games in colour is by simply using a scart lead-not sure if this will work the other way round but ps1 scart leads work fine and are only a couple of quid so mite be worth trying

Yeah, You normally just need a fully wired RGB scart lead. Since you say your telly plays them in black and white and you don't mention it flickering all over the place then its only the lead you need to change.

Mike.

Remember I'm in USA. It is in black and white but it is also half way down the screen on my telly.

Do a search for Adrenalin Patcher on the web... If you make an ISO file from you PAL disc and run it through this patcher it will make it NTSC... The just reburn the ISO.....
