Woo hoo first post in the xbox forum. :)

So as the subject says.. I always use double sided tape but some of my customers complain that the feet still fall off. So what do you guys use?

Never really had that problem. If you peel them off carefully enough they tend to come right off with the adhesive still intact.

However, I got one that I bought off of a member at BST and he used crazy glue. Not something I'd recommend though as they more a b!tch to peel off if you want to open up your Xbox again down the road for 'upgrades'. ;)

I personally just leave'm off myself if there's no adhesive left. Not like it moves around anyway.

That might be it, its supposed to be just sticky enough to hold but can pull it apart with some ease.

Thats what i was thinking- its only enough for paper 2 paper- but i guess it doesn't have to be that sticky- nothing's hanging from it

lol, fair enough. I just leave'm off meself. I'm usually having to go into the console enough times farting around learning stuff to not even bother with the feet. :)

Then thats not what I am talking about, I think its made by 3M. It dries like that stuff (sort of) they stick on the back of new credit cards and you have to peel it off the paper. It looks like a booger!!!

I could loan you a screw gun and some sheetrock screws.http://66.197.142.137/forums/images/smilies/insane.gifhttp://66.197.142.137/forums/images/smilies/laugh.gif

hotglue gun might work (I have never tried but its worth a shot)

I remember a long time ago I used super glue. When I needed to get in the case I had to carve away at the rubber

I've been using that double sided tape that people use to tape up plastic over the windows for the winter. It does the job and is very cheap, but I've been having some complaints from a few customers so there has to be a better option. I have some really good 3m double sided tape that I use to mount modchips but its too expensive to use on the feet.

I'm gonna stroll down to Walmart later to see if I can find anything.

Double sided sellotape works fine

when you take the 'feet' off the bottom , why not cut the end off so you can get to the screw then superglue the rest back on.

got the best of both worlds there i would say

easier way. drill a hole perfect for the screw to fit through then SUPER GLUE *LIQUID MERCURY* :D and you have the best of both worlds.

I just always pull the feet like 1/3 off and unscrew it while the ruber foot is still attached. I've never had one fall off doing it that way. Just my 2 cents worth....

That's what I do to. Just don't remove the feet all the way and you'll never have a problem with them falling off.

wig tape, (double sided sticky tape), best thing for it

Is that from your own wig? haha.

Evostick works good as it drys rubbery and not rock hard like super glue etc, Plus you have the added bonus of getting a free high from the fumes.:insane:

"Elmers" brand "Rubber Cement" works a charm as well. Holds them on and will peel off nicely if needed in the future.

Plus it smells a treat :)
