Thought this might be of use to people (like me) have a badly knackered psp faceplate/screen.

After a good bit of digging I found that these guys ( http://www.e-linksoft.com (http://www.e-linksoft.com/) ) are going to start selling replacement faceplates with matching buttons etc on September 5th.

I got a replacement clear housing for mine about a month ago (was the only option at the time) but it didnt do the job the buttons felt terrible and the pad was loose , these ones are apparently made fit perfect and have a nice finish. The site says reviews will be up for them soon.

Hopefully they will turn out to be decent , dont want to have to buy a psp just to knick a faceplate then return it !! :)

You're talking about that housing called Rainbow PRO PSP Hard Case on their site, ya? I was wondering about how those worked as it looked like the buttons would have probs with that thicker outer shell around them. Glad I didn't get it but someone's gotta be the guinea pig for these things right? ;)

Wonder how hard/finnicky it'll be to replace them yourself though? Toss out your warranty if you do though.

If you do it and it's successful, might wanna get a proper screen protector and the side ones for the analog/digital controllers on the left and the side ones for the four buttons on the right like I did. Works fantastic but a right biatch to put those side clear protectors on properly.

Nah those rainbow ones just go on over the top , these are full front panel replacements, not too hard to replace, 5 screws come out thats it , although you do have to pull off the warranty to get at 1 of the screws.Says they are doing ones with replaceable lenses which I can only guess means you can change the screen without changing the whole panel which would make things easie for future replacing if needed !

Out on monday according to the site :)
