strange sync prob

hi guys iv,e just converted my avi files to mpg2 ready for dvd authoring both files r in perfect sync untill i try to join them with tmp enc and it all gos wrong i find this strainge cos its never happend before i thought tmp just joined them there r no jumps or gaps in the audio or video. can someone recomend some softwere that is better than tmp for joining or is it just settings i need to chainge. thanks:bawling:

I used to use tmpgenc to join my mpegs until I started having sync problems like you. I then downloaded Easy Video Joiner and haven't had a problem since.

TMPGEnc should work fine as long as you used it to encode.

Personally I would have just joined before encoding.

part1 = avisource("part1.avi")
part2 = avisource("part2.avi")
part1++part2

Anyway, seeing as how this is about DVD's.... off to the DVD forum.

i did use tmp to encode but they srill wont join properl and easy vcd join wont work HELP

just author them with tmpgenc dvd author - no need to join the files as they will be imported seamlessly.
