im having problems with injecting the patched dnsxx.img into a iso [medal of honour] the error i get is image is full so how do i replace the *.img file with the patched version : this is how i did it:
1/made standard iso using recordmax and dos command [also tryed using dvd dycrpt]
2/patched *.img file as specified
3/ opened the iso in winimage [30 day trial] [[[ ihave also tryed cdmage but the import sector is greyed out... does any one know why]]]]
4/ then got the error above
can some help me out here?

The import was greyed out on CDmage because the older versions cannot import to an image. The new one does. It is version 102.1B5. If you COULD import before, but not with that image, then that means there is something wrong with the image, or you are opening it in the incorrect format/block size. It does sound like you have an older vesion, though. Sorry I can't help you with Winimage, as I have never used it.

Here is what i did and worked fine and no error. First i tried using PrimoDVD to make an ISO but wouldnt do it so i switch to DVD Decrypter. I used WinIMage and open the iso file. found the DNAS271.img file, then hilighted it. clicked on inject image, choose my new DNAS271 file then yes to overwrite. closed out and burned ISO. Just thinking from the top of my head since i dont have the programs in front of me.
I did MOH:RS last night and everything went smooth except the game would hang after the PS2 logo screen. You could hear the laser clicking and searching. I did NFS:UG earlier and did fine. I think the problem was that since PrimoDVD couldnt make an ISO image i then use DVD Decrypter. How do you make an ISO file using Recorn Now? I couldnt figure it out. thanks and good luck

In Record Now Max, go to 'Drive', then 'Build Global Image', then after a window pops up select 'Extract Track' Select the track you want (in this case, for PS2, there is only one track)then select 'Extract Track'. Then it will build the ISO for you.

ok thanks, basically just like PrimoDVD but Stomp is layed out different. Will it do games over 4gigs? PrimoDVD wouldnt build an iso file for MOH:RS. It read it but when it was finished i check the folder it was suppose to be in and nothing was there. So not sure what the deal was.

primodvd will make a global image split in three you go into DOS and type in a command line [cannt remeber the line] but this will make the image into a standard image
from reading threads do we only need to patch only the dnasxxx.img files and nothing else like the iopxxx.img files? OR do we patch all XXXXX.img files?

it wont make an ISO. Stomp says 'completed with errors' but there is no ISO or anything else in the folder i told it to put it in. DVD decrytper creates an ISO of the game fine. but i hate DVD Decrypter
with record now max i just right click the dvd drive and select extract tracks, select the track ( will be something like 01 -zone- (xxxx-xx-xx xx:xx)) select where you want to save it and name it xxx.iso then click extract

Thats EXACTLY what i did. worked fine on NFL Street and NFS
not sure whats causing it then if it works ok for other games
try alcohol 120%, i've not burnt a copy with this method yet but i can extract and import the patched dnas file
use the image making wizard to make an image of the dvd, it'll create 2 files, mds is only a few kb's and is like a cue file, mdf is the disc image and is exactly the same in structure to an iso file
open the mdf file with winimage and export any dnas files, patch them and import them back into the image then burn back to dvd-r

here's the command line, make sure to open the ms-dos prompt in the folder where the files are stored.
copy /b file1.gi+file2.gi output.iso
