I heard SM won't play 80-min. CD-Rs, but can I use the CDLoader v7 Beta 5.2 found at www.swapmagic.com (http://www.swapmagic.com), boot the CDLoader disc using the SM disc, and then load the 80-min. game from the CDLoader disc?

CDLoader v7 Beta 5.2 is listed as a fix for v9-10 consoles on their site... can I use it with a v5-6 console?

Also, what is a UMCDR format? Will the memory card exploit allow me to play backups of PS2/PSX games with no swap, or is UMCDR a special format? If so, can I make a disc image of one of my games and then turn it into a UMCDR?

The UMCDR label says CDR not DVDR, so is there no way to install an exploit to play PS2 DVD-Rs with no swap (I use a fliptop)?

The most hassle free no-solder solution is the HD Advance/ HD Loader method. Much less bother than the swaps or the exploits. To my knowledge the exploits still require a swap of some kind.

Can I use LaunchELF with the memory card exploit to play PS1 backups, or is there no way to play PS1 backups on a fliptop/without a modchip?

ps2 doesn't have an exploit for playing ps1 backups.

I can play ps1 backups with an older version of a psx gameshark and swapping

Does the Gameshark stop the disc or do you have to pull out the real PSX game while it's spinning to swap in the backup?
