Waddup,
I'm currently building a bit of an online shop and will require an SSL certificate soon.
In the mean time, I've been supplied with a 'temp' fake cert to test various things.
But I'm running into a few probs.
I own a domain name eg: www.mydomain.co.uk (http://www.mydomain.co.uk)
Now, I install my temp cert and https access does not work on my domain. However if I put https:\\ip of my server - It works.
It's the same for the osCommerce software I'm installing, nothing works if I input my domain when installing, but the ip of my server works fine.
So, it's working but not as it should.
Why is this?
More info:
My domain is bought from company A.
My pace is owned by company B.
My domain name works fine in normal http.
Sorry if this is stupid, I'm new to SSL.
Thanks
