Just recently had to reformat a mates second hand Dell OptiPlex GX150, went to install the video divers for his model off the dell tech support page, but none of the drivers suit his card.

Could SiSoft's Sandra identify what card it is with out the drivers installed? Or is there any other way of identifying it?, 800x600 is rather annoyingly large.

TIA

Belarc Advisor (http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html) would also do the job ... as might your eyes if you open the case and look at whats printed on chip ;)

Asked incase there is no label on the card, dont wanna go there with only 1 avenue to fix it, thats why i wanteed to know if it would work without drivers installed.

You can't find Dell on the High Street....and sometimes you can't find there drivers too! :)

Thanks, installing XP resolved it though.
