Got myself a new printer, Canon inkjet i560.
Problem is, whenevr I print it keeps messing up. I'm using CoverXp pro for printing DVD covers.
VEry rarely it'll print off ok. More often than not, it either crashes after printing about 2/3inches worth and stalls so have to reboot. Occasionally get a blue screen of death that means I have to restart PC. Or, it'll print but then my mouse wont move so have to restart PC.
Latest driver for printer was 2004 as was one for Cover XP.
Any suggestions? Its driving me mad as I'm wasting so much ink and glossy paper. grrr:mad: :insane:

It's possible the printer is faulty, but it could be your XP Installation has problems/infections/corruptions.

Have you tried the printer on another PC ?

Unusual for a printer to cause the kind of problems you describe.

just an idea,
did you have another printer before and have you removed all the old software and drivers for it
