View Full Version : Help Needed Please....Cannot backup any of my Dvd's to Dvdr's ????

I have a pioneer 106d and asus dvd rom e616
I did back a few up with dvd x copy but trial version that came with computer but trial ended and it didn't start doing new dvd's I have?
I have tried different dvd's programs.....DVD Decrypter/DVD Shrink/e.t.c...NO GOOD.
They nearly all Play for 10mins/20 mins then start crashing....!!!!!!!

First and foremost, DVD X Crappy is a dead program. So don't even bother with it. Also, what movies did you try to backup? What media, What firmware? We need more info here.

Hi Jesterrace,
1. I have tried to Backup dvd5 and dvd9 No Joy!
2. I have tried Datawrite yellow 4x....And tried to burn 1x/2x e.t.c No Joy?...When I say No Joy what I mean is Copies 9/10 but when Play Back starts crashing after 10/20mins e.t.c.....And tried lots of different dvd playes same result?

I thought I was sure it was SOFTWARE...... MAYBE NOT?...Could be DVD-R'S or DVD WRITER 106D....May need Updating the firmware e.t.c do I?
I have a ASUS E616 DVD ROM DRIVE........
What I have noticed Before it said I am Unable to play Certain Films in PIONEER 106D.....Region needs hacking or something? as only 1 region I think it plays?
Please would you either e-mail me all the Info I need Inc::
WHAT SOFTWARE......HOW DO I USE IT?
WHAT MEDIA IS BEST.........INC: IS DVD-R BETTER FOR FILMS OR DVD+R
