Establishing WEP using PC & MAC?

Hi, I currently have a PC downstairs setup with a D-link wi-fi router which is currently running unprotected except for the use of a firewall. I want to setup WEP encryption so nobody else in the area can steal our connection, but also need to be able to use the internet on my MAC.

If I setup WEP encyption (128 or maybe even 256-bit), will it still be possible to use the internet connection OK with both a windows and OSX systems?

yeh, it'll be fine
airports let u put in a WEP key

if not you could still always just use mac address filtering
