Does it matter what profile you're logged into when scanning for spyware?

I'm debugging(spybot & adaware etc) a friends home computer (win xp home) and i've logged in on her profile- but other people use the pc and have their own profiles. Would i have to log into each one to do a thorough clean or does it not matter?

Well I don't think it would detect stuff in HKEY_CURRENT_USER for other users.
