computer just died, urgent help please :(

help guys, my computer just died, went to plug in a usb cable, as soon as the metal tocuhed, it all turned of and short circuted the plug sockets.

theres a burn mark on the usb cable where it touched aswell, ive disconected the usb ports that affected it and it wont seem to turn on, the mobo looks fine aswell, have no clue what did this!!!

Have you tried switching your power supply off then back on. And/or clearing your cmos?

cmos is clean dude, i suspected it was the psu, i flciked the on off switch oin the psu and nowt happened... gunna buy a new one, any chance my mobo cud be fkced?

It also may be the 5V+ of the USB port was connected to a wrong pin on the USB head on the mobo. This would cause damage to the head (if you're very lucky) or the mobo.
