System specs for downloading bittorrents and gaming, etc

If i threw 2gb of memory in my pc (corsair value memory) and had a P4 3ghz CPU, would i be okay with running bittorrent (Azureus) in the background while burning, playing games, and anything else)???

yes i can see why not it should not effect your games if your playing not online

i got 513k ddram 2800xp and i can download 7 bit torrents and still burn disks :)

That'd be plenty, mate. I can play games with Azureus in the background, and I'm only running on 512mb and a 1900xp.

oh cool. i just notice that on my PC that i use specifically for DLing , sometimes it seems to freeze and things open slowly (it has 512mb). So i was concerned about doing other stuff on it as well. thanks
