Problem copying CY GIRLS for PS2...any ideas?

I just burned both discs of Cy Girls. I usually dont have any problems burning games for PS2.

when i boot my system and use swap magic....both discs boot. they go through the Konami screen etc...but after it says something like "the persons, etc in this game are fictitious....etc etc".... it goes to a black screen and never comes back...

i can see if it were 1 disc 0 i'd say it was just a bad burn....but on both, and in the same place??

i have a 3.06 ghz P4 and 1gb of RAM with nothing else running....

has anyone burned a successful version of these discs?? is there some protection or something?

What media are you using? What speed are you burning at? Also did you check swapmagicfix.com and see if there is a patch required for it?

i am using riteks. and i am burning at 2x. i never have problems burning ps2's so its kind of weird. there is no patch on swapmagicfix.com for it either

Did you check to make sure your media doesn't have spotting in the dye? Is this from an original disc or D/L? If it is from an original disc did you make sure that the original plays fine?

its from an original disc....and no problems are on the dvdr surface either - i get the same thing now with Resident Evil Outbreak.....

I think you're having other problems. I copied CY and Resident Evil with no problems and no patching, other then DNAS.
