Two Monitors / Laptop

Hi,

I need another monitor for when I am working, and dont want to splash out on a flat screen or anything like that and dont fancy a CRT Sreen, I have an old laptop, got great 1024 screen on it, now I know it sounds stupid but I cant run that as the second monitor?

My computer can handle two monitors, but I dont know if its possible to use a laptop screen as the second monitor.

Simple answer is no, there are no input from the screen, and to convert it would cost you a lot more than buying a new TFT, not to mention the labour and technical skill required.

right. so looks like a cheap monitor will have to do?

can i ask if anyone knows an any good software that allows use of two monitors?

You won't need any extra software, XP will have it covered.
