what's the best set up for these?

what's the best connection for these beaing in mind i want TV/cable audio (of some sort) through the surround sound system:

TV
VCR
CABLE BOX
DVD

What surround system are you using. How many scart inputs does the tv have? What video/audio out does the cable box have?

This only applies of you have 2 scart sockets on the bak of ur Tv set.

DVD direct to the RGB scart socket on ur TV
Cable box scarted in to the input scart on video
Video scart out to TV

Phono leads from the back of the TV to the input on ur surround amp that should sort out ur Tv and Video sound. Now i dont know if ur surround is sepreates or a all in 1 system. If its a all in 1 system u DVD player will be already sorted for sound, but if not then u best bet would be optical or coaxil cable to the back of your amp depending what your amp supports (if seperate amp it will defo support one or the other aslong is it is a Dolby Digital Amp)
