Can You Run Trainers From DVDr ??

Hi Folks,

Say I was stuck on Ninja Gaiden and wanted to run the DNL trainer would it be possible to add the file to the ISO, burn and play from dvdr or do they only run from the hard drive via ftp ?

Any help on this would be much apprciated.

yeah it works off dvd-r just rename the original default.xbe to game.xbe then add the trainer xbe then turn back into iso and then burn the dvd-r

u can extract it by using an iso extracting tool such as simplexiso or Qwix

well glad it worked with xiso but for future reference xiso is not the best tool- there is a huge thread re: xiso creating invalid iso's on xbox scene- so i'd stop using xiso if i were you

simplexiso or qwix as taz2k2 said are the ones i recommend- simplexiso for a simple low cpu hogging extraction/creation tool. qwix goes a couple steps further as it has inbuilt ftp which used in conjuction with avalaunch as an app/dash on the xbox provides faster ftp speeds- it also has a few game managements options too.
