do i have to phone telewest to register my mac addy or can i go online and do it

ok thanks

its because i still cant get internet access throught my router.
went to tcp/ip property
ip 192.168.123.5
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
default gateway 19.168.123.254

prefered dns server 192.168.123.254

open browser to 192.168.123.254
login in admin
everything seems ok even the mac router addy is ok 00-50-18-31-db-37

but still no access.any ideas the only thing i could think off now was mac reggy.

1. presuming the default gateway is a typo as it should be 192.168.123.254

i think the reason you can't get internet is because your dns is set to the ip of the router. Find the telewest dns and enter this instead.

should work then.

how do i find the dns as i was given no documents when i had bb installed ablout 6 months ago.

got them found them on there site incase any1 needs them too.
